COURSE CURRICULUM

The Digital Business Analytics BSc at Brunel University equips students with the skills to integrate business knowledge with advanced digital technologies for data-driven decision-making. In the first year, students build a foundation in international business, accounting, management, marketing, information technology, and organizational behaviour, gaining the analytical and conceptual skills required to respond to challenges in modern business environments. The second year focuses on applying these skills through business analytics, programming, research methods, and modules on creativity, innovation, leadership, digital marketing, and entrepreneurship. Students develop practical experience in analyzing digital data using tools such as Python, Power BI, and R, while learning to interpret insights to support evidence-based business decisions. In the final year, students explore AI and digital transformation, examining the strategic, operational, ethical, and regulatory implications of AI and automation in organizations. Optional modules allow further specialization in areas such as content marketing, corporate entrepreneurship, international strategy, innovation management, and human resource management. Students also undertake an individual project, applying research or strategic analysis to real-world business problems. The program combines theoretical understanding with practical, industry-relevant skills, preparing graduates for careers as business analysts, data consultants, digital transformation specialists, or other roles bridging technology and business strategy in a data-driven global economy.
