COURSE CURRICULUM

The Business Management with Entrepreneurship BSc (Hons) program is designed to equip students with the skills, knowledge, and practical experience necessary to succeed in entrepreneurial and management roles. In the first year, students build a foundation in core business and management concepts, including organisational behaviour, international business environment, management enquiry, marketing principles, information management, and accounting and financial management. They also develop analytical and technical skills through modules in managing information with technology. In the second year, the focus shifts to entrepreneurship, innovation, and business growth. Students explore new venture creation, digital marketing, creativity, innovation and leadership, business growth and sustainability, research methods, and entrepreneurship and marketing in business. Practical experience is emphasised through creating and running real-life business ventures, helping students apply theory to practice. In the third year, students undertake in-depth studies of strategic management, corporate entrepreneurship and innovation, and issues and controversies in management, enhancing critical thinking, problem-solving, and research skills. Optional modules allow further exploration of topics such as innovation and knowledge management, entrepreneurial finance, business ethics, international business strategy, and human resource management. Overall, the program prepares graduates to launch new ventures, innovate within organisations, and pursue careers in management, consultancy, or business development, combining theoretical understanding with hands-on experience in real-world business contexts.
