COURSE CURRICULUM

The Education BA at Brunel University provides a comprehensive blend of theoretical study and practical experience, preparing students for careers across education and related fields. Early years education and practical approaches are also examined, encouraging reflection and professional growth. In the final year, students critically explore contemporary issues facing children and young people in Britain, cross-cultural and international perspectives on education, and advanced research skills through a dissertation project. A third work placement allows students to integrate theory with practice and prepare for employment after graduation. Throughout the course, students develop transferable skills in analysis, communication, reflection, and research, ensuring they are well-equipped for careers in teaching, educational management, social services, or further postgraduate study.
