COURSE CURRICULUM

To complete the MSc in User Experience Design, students must successfully complete a series of core modules totaling 180 credits, which provide both theoretical knowledge and practical skills essential for a career in UX. The Human-Centred Design module equips students with the principles and practices necessary to create user-focused products and services, emphasizing empathy and understanding of end-user needs. The UX Development module develops technical skills for building functional and engaging digital experiences, while Visual Interface Design focuses on crafting visually appealing and intuitive interfaces. Accessibility and Assistive Technology ensures that students can design inclusive products that cater to users with diverse abilities. Research Methods and Evaluation teaches rigorous approaches to assessing usability, collecting feedback, and refining designs based on evidence. Advanced and Immersive Technologies explores emerging tools and techniques, such as AR, VR, and other interactive media, preparing students for innovation in UX design. Finally, the Individual Master’s Project allows students to integrate all learned skills into a substantial, portfolio-ready project, demonstrating their ability to solve complex design challenges independently.
