COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Computer Science requires students to complete a structured set of core modules totaling 180 credits, designed to build a strong foundation in computing principles while also developing advanced technical skills. The course begins with Software Development, which provides essential programming knowledge and practical coding abilities, followed by Software Analysis and Design, focusing on creating efficient, scalable, and reliable software systems. Database Design and Development introduces students to the principles of managing, structuring, and implementing databases, a key area for most IT applications. Web Application Development equips learners with the knowledge and tools to design and implement interactive and dynamic web-based systems, preparing them for the demands of modern digital industries. Artificial Intelligence Fundamentals offers an introduction to AI concepts and techniques, enabling students to understand and apply intelligent solutions across different computing fields. Research Methods and Project Management helps learners develop the academic and professional skills required to manage projects effectively and conduct high-quality research. The program culminates in the Individual Master’s Project, a 60-credit module that allows students to apply their knowledge in an in-depth, independent study, tackling a significant computing problem.
