Fashion Design Technology introduces traditional flat pattern cutting and modern digital tools, while Fashion Systems emphasizes design functionality and the fashion supply chain. Fashion Design Manifesto incorporates AI integration for creative problem-solving.The second year focuses on advanced design development and professional skills. Modules like Creative Industries: Industry Futures prepare students for industry placements, and Fashion Design Tailoring introduces bespoke tailoring techniques essential for understanding garment structure. Fashion Design Technology emphasizes sustainability and ethical practices while students build portfolios. Optional modules such as Work Placement, Industry Project, or Independent Creative Entrepreneur offer practical experience and entrepreneurial skills.In the final year, students specialize in areas aligned with their career goals. Creative Industries: Research Development and Enquiry allows students to conduct in-depth research, feeding into their final project. Fashion Design Pre-Collection offers the opportunity to create a pre-collection, while Fashion Design Collection Construction focuses on building a complete collection.
