COURSE CURRICULUM

The MBA Leadership program at Bath Spa University is designed to be completed either full-time over one year or part-time over two years, offering flexibility to accommodate different professional and personal commitments. The course begins with 120 credits of classroom-based taught modules, providing students with a comprehensive foundation in key aspects of business, management, and leadership. These modules cover areas such as leading, managing and developing people, strategic management, leading change and innovation, governance and risk management, strategic marketing management, corporate financial management, project management, and professional development. Through these modules, students develop a strong understanding of strategic and operational challenges, and the skills required to lead teams and organisations effectively. Following completion of the taught modules, students undertake a 60-credit Leadership Project, which allows them to apply their knowledge in a practical and research-focused context, demonstrating their ability to address real-world business challenges. The program emphasizes reflective practice, professional growth, and strategic thinking, equipping graduates with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to pursue senior leadership roles, drive organisational success, and navigate complex global business environments while maintaining ethical and responsible leadership practices.
