COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Clinical and Health Psychology is a comprehensive program designed to provide students with both theoretical and practical knowledge relevant to clinical psychology. Core modules include a substantial Research Project (60 credits), which allows students to investigate a key area in clinical and health psychology. The Advanced Research Methods module further equips students with the necessary tools for conducting high-quality psychological research. In addition to the core curriculum, students choose 60 credits from a diverse range of optional modules, enabling them to tailor their learning to individual interests and career goals. Options include modules such as Clinical Neuropsychology 1 and 2, which provide in-depth insight into neuropsychological assessment and intervention, and Behavioural Neurology, which examines neurological bases of behaviour. Other modules focus on key populations and societal concerns, including Global Early Childhood, Modern Families, Youth, Crime, Vulnerability and Abuse, and Understanding Child and Youth, offering interdisciplinary perspectives.Modules like Learning and Rehabilitation and Topics in Child Health and Wellbeing address applied psychological interventions and developmental issues. Students may also choose additional research-focused training such as Research Methods Skills.
