COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Applied Behaviour Analysis consists of a structured set of compulsory modules designed to build strong theoretical knowledge, practical competence, and research expertise in behaviour science. In Semester 1, students study Research Methods in Behaviour, Assessment in Behaviour Science, and Basic Principles in Behaviour Science, each worth 20 credits. These modules develop a solid foundation in understanding behavioural theory, conducting scientific research, and carrying out effective behavioural assessments. In Semester 2, students progress to Advanced Behaviour Change Procedures, Applications of Behaviour Analysis, and Behaviour Change, also 20 credits each. These modules focus on applying behavioural principles in practical settings, designing and implementing intervention strategies, and analysing the effectiveness of behaviour change programs. In Semester 3, students complete a major 60-credit core component, choosing either the Practicum or the ABA Dissertation. The Practicum provides supervised professional experience, allowing students to apply their knowledge in real-world settings, while the Dissertation involves conducting an independent research project that demonstrates critical thinking and advanced analytical skills. Together, these modules ensure graduates are well prepared for ethical, evidence-based professional practice in behaviour analysis.
