COURSE CURRICULUM

This program provides a comprehensive and in-depth education in finance and strategic management, combining theoretical insights with practical applications to prepare students for leadership roles in the financial sector. Students are required to complete 180 credits, beginning with 75 credits of core modules. These include International Financial Markets, Organisations and People, Investment Strategy and Portfolio Management, Multinational Corporate Finance, and Management Research. These modules aim to build foundational knowledge in global finance, corporate operations, investment analysis, and research methods, equipping students with analytical and strategic skills required for effective decision-making in dynamic financial environments.In the summer term, students choose one of three major 60-credit capstone modules: the MBA Dissertation, Financial Research & CFA, or Applied Business Projects. These modules allow for deep investigation into financial topics or practical business challenges, providing a valuable opportunity to apply learning to real-world or research-based scenarios. The Financial Research & CFA option also aligns with the Chartered Financial Analyst Level 1 preparation, making the program attractive to those seeking professional accreditation.Additionally, students select 45 credits of optional modules from a diverse range of advanced topics. These include International Strategic Management, International Tax Policy and Practice, Financial Ethics and Regulation, Islamic Finance, Knowledge Management, and Financial Technology. These electives allow students to tailor the program to their specific interests and career aspirations. Whether focusing on global finance, digital innovation, taxation, or ethical governance, the optional modules offer a broad and flexible learning experience.
