COURSE CURRICULUM

The MBA Banking and Finance is a postgraduate program requiring the completion of 180 credits and is designed to develop advanced managerial, financial, and strategic expertise for the global financial sector. A central element of the program is the Applied Business Projects module, a 60-credit core component undertaken across the full term, where students apply theoretical knowledge to real-world business and financial challenges. In semester one, students study Organisations and People, which focuses on leadership, human resource management, and organisational behaviour, alongside International Strategic Management, which develops skills in global strategy and competitive decision-making. Semester one also includes International Banking, providing insight into global banking systems and regulations, and Investment Strategy and Portfolio Management, which covers asset allocation, risk management, and investment decision-making. Semester two builds on this foundation with modules such as Merger and Acquisition, examining corporate restructuring and valuation, and Bank Financial Management, which focuses on managing financial performance and risk within banking institutions. Students also complete Management Research to strengthen analytical and research skills, and Multinational Corporate Finance, which explores financial decision-making in international contexts. Overall, the program integrates strategic management, advanced finance, and applied research, preparing graduates for leadership roles in banking, financial services, consulting, and corporate finance in an international business environment.
