COURSE CURRICULUM

The Business Enterprise Development degree is structured to help students build practical entrepreneurial skills through a combination of teamwork, research, and real business development. In the first year, students are introduced to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and teamwork. Modules such as Enterprise Creation and Innovation and Entrepreneurship focus on developing business ideas and understanding how new ventures are formed. Students also study Understanding Teams to learn how effective collaboration supports business success. Additional modules such as Research and Development and Performance and Development help students build research abilities, self-reflection, and personal growth while developing their entrepreneurial mindset. In the second year, students move from creating ideas to actively developing and managing enterprises. Modules such as Enterprise Development and Developing Team Practice focus on improving teamwork, leadership, and project management skills. Students also study Applied Research and Development and Developing Entrepreneurial Capability to strengthen their ability to analyse business opportunities and solve real-world problems. The module Business Enterprise Development in Practice allows students to apply their knowledge directly to real projects. In the final year, the focus shifts to scaling and sustaining businesses. Students study Sustainable Enterprise Growth and Leading Self and Others to develop leadership and strategic thinking. They also complete an Applied Research Project and continue developing their enterprise through practical modules, preparing them for entrepreneurial careers or leadership roles in innovative organisations.
