COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA (Hons) Content Creation with Marketing program offers a structured progression over three years, combining creative practice with strategic business understanding. In the first year, students build foundational skills in content creation, social media management, consumer insights, and business finance, while developing a critical understanding of ethical and sustainable business practices. This ensures that from the outset, learners are equipped to evaluate the social and economic impact of digital strategies and identify solutions to complex business challenges. In the second year, students expand their knowledge by exploring advanced digital content production, including the use of Artificial Intelligence to enhance efficiency and innovation, alongside its ethical implications. Practical experience is gained through live industry briefs, and students begin developing a career plan to guide their progression into employment, entrepreneurial ventures, or postgraduate study. Between the second and third years, an optional industry placement allows students to apply their learning in a professional setting, further enhancing their skills and employability. The final year focuses on independent learning through a major project, where students design a self-initiated project or live brief, integrating research, strategy, and creative practice. This culminates in a substantial portfolio demonstrating their expertise in content creation, digital strategy, and business management, preparing graduates for careers in creative industries, marketing, or entrepreneurship.
