Arts University Bournemouth

Arts University Bournemouth has trained creative professionals since 1880, when it opened as the Bournemouth Government School of Art. Although it gained full university status only in 2012, its academic heritage spans well over a century. Students researching the Arts University Bournemouth acceptance rate are often drawn to its Bournemouth Film School, established in 1963 and recognised as a full member of CILECT, the global association of film and television schools. AUB tuition fees reflect its specialist focus, and its course offerings in art, architecture, film, performance, and design have produced BAFTA winners, an Academy Award recipient, and a Turner Prize laureate. Applicants reviewing Arts University Bournemouth admission requirements should also note its Outstanding Ofsted rating, held consistently since 2018. For students pursuing careers in the creative industries specifically, AUB's ranking among UK arts institutions remains difficult to match.
