The MSc Strategic Human Resource Management program offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge required to lead HR functions strategically and effectively. Strategic Planning and Ethical Decision Making develops the ability to align HR strategies with organisational goals while making responsible, values-driven decisions. People Analytics and Value Creation focuses on using data and analytics to inform workforce planning, measure performance, and create organisational value. Strategic Employment Relations and Employment Law provides an understanding of legal frameworks and relationship management in the workplace, ensuring compliance and fostering positive employee relations. Organisational Development, Culture and Change explores strategies for shaping organisational culture, managing transformation, and driving sustainable change. People Development, Well-being and Performance examines approaches to training, talent development, employee engagement, and wellbeing initiatives that enhance workforce performance. Resourcing and Rewarding Talent focuses on recruitment strategies, talent management, and reward systems that attract, retain, and motivate employees. The program culminates in a 60-credit Research Project, allowing students to apply their learning to a substantial, independent investigation of a real-world HR challenge, integrating theory, data analysis, and strategic problem-solving. Together, these modules prepare graduates to lead HR operations with confidence, apply evidence-based strategies, and deliver measurable impact in dynamic organisational environments.
