The MSc Engineering Management program is structured to provide a comprehensive and practical understanding of modern engineering leadership through a series of seven core modules, totaling 180 credit hours. Management of Traditional Engineering Projects introduces fundamental project management principles, helping students plan, execute and control engineering initiatives effectively. Competitive Strategy within Engineering Management focuses on developing strategic thinking skills, enabling students to assess market dynamics and guide organisational decision-making. Agile Methodologies in the Business Environment equips learners with knowledge of flexible, iterative approaches to managing projects and adapting to rapidly changing conditions. Developing People, Leadership and Capabilities emphasises building strong teams, effective communication, and leadership skills to inspire and manage diverse workforces. Introduction to Supply Chain Management explores the design, coordination and optimisation of global supply networks, ensuring students can improve operational efficiency. Analysing Big Data provides tools and techniques for interpreting large datasets, supporting data-driven decision-making in engineering contexts. The program culminates in the Engineering Transformation Project, a substantial 60-credit module that allows students to apply their learning to a real-world or simulated engineering challenge, integrating strategic, managerial and technical knowledge. Together, these modules prepare graduates to lead projects, innovate processes, and take on senior roles in engineering management across a variety of industries.
