COURSE CURRICULUM

This Law with Business Management LLB (Hons) program is structured to develop a strong understanding of core legal principles alongside practical business and management knowledge across three years of study. In Year 1, students are introduced to key areas of law, including constitutional and administrative law, contract law and criminal law, while also gaining an early understanding of business fundamentals through modules focused on how organisations operate. Year 2 builds on this foundation with in-depth study of tort law, equity, trusts and succession, and business law, ensuring coverage of essential legal subjects. Students also explore international business, entrepreneurship, tax law and project management, supported by the Ruskin Module, which promotes personal development, employability and social responsibility. In the final year, the program takes a more advanced and applied approach. Core legal subjects such as property law, EU law, employment law and civil litigation are studied alongside modules that examine the legal and social obligations of business. Students also develop broader management and commercial awareness through international intercultural management, human resource management and marketing communications. The undergraduate major project allows students to research a legal or business issue in depth. Overall, the course prepares graduates with strong legal knowledge, commercial insight and transferable skills for careers in law, business and related fields.
