COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc (Hons) Business Management program is structured over three years and delivered at the Cambridge and Chelmsford campuses, providing a broad and practical understanding of modern business practice. In the first year, students develop a strong foundation in core business areas, including digital marketing, financial environment and analysis, international business and market dynamics, and organisational behaviour with a focus on artificial intelligence and the future of work. The second year builds on this knowledge by introducing data analytics and AI in business, international operations and supply chain management, and entrepreneurship and consultancy, helping students to develop analytical, operational and innovative thinking. Students also explore financial management and consumer behaviour, alongside broader learning through the Ruskin Module. In the final year, the program focuses on strategic and ethical leadership, with modules covering strategic management, sustainability and responsible business, and employment law and relations. Optional study in international intercultural management allows students to gain insight into managing across cultures. The course culminates in an undergraduate major project, enabling students to apply theory to real-world business challenges through independent research. Overall, the program equips graduates with managerial, analytical and digital skills needed for successful careers across a wide range of business and management roles.
