COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc (Hons) Business Management and Finance program is structured over three years to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of business management alongside specialised financial expertise. In the first year, students build a solid foundation in key business and financial principles through modules such as international business and market dynamics, organisational behaviour with a focus on artificial intelligence and the future of work, financial environment and analysis, financial and management accounting with digital systems, and core business skills through how to do business. The second year develops applied financial and management skills, covering financial management, international operations and supply chain management, and data analytics and AI in business, while fostering entrepreneurial thinking through entrepreneurship and consultancy modules. Students also begin preparing for their undergraduate major project, with support from the Ruskin Module. In the final year, learning focuses on strategic and advanced financial topics, including strategic management, sustainability and responsible business, financial investment analysis, and the completion of the undergraduate major project in accounting and finance, allowing students to apply theory to practical research and analysis. Throughout the program, students gain critical analytical, decision-making and leadership skills, as well as financial discipline and problem-solving abilities. Overall, the course prepares graduates for careers in business management, finance, investment, consultancy and leadership roles, or for further study in related disciplines.
