COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc (Hons) Business Management and Business Analytics program is structured over three years to develop strong business knowledge alongside advanced analytical skills. In the first year, students build a solid foundation in business and economics through modules such as how to do business, applied economic mathematics and statistics, financial environment and analysis, and international business and market dynamics. They also explore organisational behaviour and the future of work, with a focus on artificial intelligence, while developing essential academic skills. The second year deepens analytical capability with the study of micro and macroeconomics, econometrics, and data analytics and AI in business, enabling students to understand and interpret complex data sets. Entrepreneurship and consultancy modules encourage innovation and practical problem solving, supported by broader learning through the Ruskin Module. In the final year, students apply their knowledge to strategic and global business contexts through international business strategy and practice, sustainability and responsible business, and applied modelling and visualisation. The program culminates in an undergraduate major project, allowing students to undertake independent research and data-driven analysis. Overall, the course equips graduates with a balanced combination of management insight, quantitative skills and digital competence, preparing them for careers in data-informed business and management roles.
