COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc (Hons) Business and Financial Management program is structured over three years to develop students’ academic knowledge, professional skills and practical understanding of business and finance. In the first year, students build a strong foundation through modules focusing on academic and professional skills, sustainable business practices and an introduction to financial markets and institutions. These subjects help students understand the modern business environment and the role of finance within it. The second year expands this knowledge by exploring key functional areas of management, including human resource management, marketing and entrepreneurial finance. Students also study budgeting and financial risk management, developing the ability to plan, control and evaluate financial performance, alongside sustainability in career development to enhance employability and professional growth. In the final year, learning becomes more strategic and leadership focused, with modules covering business strategy execution, leadership and change management, and corporate financial management in the digital age. The program culminates in an undergraduate major project in business and financial analysis, allowing students to apply theoretical concepts to real-world business challenges through independent research. Overall, the course equips graduates with analytical, managerial and financial skills needed for successful careers in business, finance and management roles.
