COURSE CURRICULUM

This degree in Fashion Communication and Branding provides a structured progression from foundational skills to advanced professional practice. In the first year, students build a solid grounding in the fashion business through modules on fashion history and contexts, marketing principles, and communication techniques, alongside developing skills in digital content creation. The Into ARU module supports academic and personal development. The second year advances into integrated fashion communication, retail and experiential marketing, and critical debates in the industry, while professional studies prepare students for careers in the creative industries. Practical experience is gained through fashion communication, promotion, and events, complemented by optional modules such as Digital Media Theory, Online Journalism, Cult Media, or language studies via the Anglia Language program. In the final year, students undertake a major project to showcase their creative and strategic abilities, alongside modules like Fashion for Change, which explores innovation and sustainability in fashion. Additional options include Working in the Creative Industries or conducting an in-depth research project. Across all years, the course blends creative skills, business understanding, and critical thinking, ensuring graduates are prepared for diverse roles in fashion communication, marketing, and branding within an evolving global fashion landscape.
