COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Structural and Geotechnical Engineering program equips students with advanced technical knowledge and practical skills required for modern structural and geotechnical engineering practice. The curriculum begins with foundational modules in structural design and geotechnical engineering, providing a solid understanding of the principles behind building and infrastructure projects. Students also study health, safety, and environmental management, gaining insight into the legal, ethical, and practical frameworks necessary for managing engineering projects safely and sustainably. The program emphasizes innovation, with modules focusing on design thinking and the implementation of creative solutions within engineering contexts. Advanced analytical techniques are taught through modules in finite element analysis and advanced structural and geotechnical engineering, enabling students to model and assess complex engineering problems accurately.
