Students study Data Structures and Algorithms in two sequential modules and gain an understanding of Game Programming and System Architectures. Mathematics for Application Development 2 advances computational problem-solving, while Graphics Programming introduces the fundamentals of visual rendering in game development.Year 3 builds on this foundation with a shift toward professional and applied game development. Students learn to implement advanced rendering techniques through Graphics Programming with Shaders and explore decision-making systems in Artificial Intelligence. The Gameplay Mechanics Development module focuses on designing and coding core interactive features. The Professional Project challenges students to deliver a complete game project in teams, preparing them for real-world collaboration.In the final year, students enhance their industry readiness through Professional Development and specialised modules. Audio Programming introduces techniques for implementing sound and music in games. Tools Programming focuses on creating custom development utilities that support production workflows.
