COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA (Hons) Business Management with Analytics degree develops strong business foundations alongside specialised analytical skills across four years of study. In Year 1, students build core knowledge in accounting, management, marketing, finance and economics, supported by modules that strengthen numeracy and academic skills. Year 2 introduces more focused topics such as human resource management, business analytics and sustainable business practices, while also developing project management abilities that are essential for handling complex organisational tasks. By Year 3, the program shifts towards advanced analytical and digital skills, including digital transformation, market intelligence, consumer behaviour and predictive analytics. These modules prepare students to understand customer patterns, analyse data trends and apply insights to strategic decision-making. Year 3 also helps students build employability skills and career readiness. In the final year, students engage with high-level business topics such as managing organisational change, strategic management and operations redesign, enabling them to understand how analytics supports long-term planning and business improvement. The program concludes with computational analytics and a study of business ethics, ensuring that students can apply data-driven methods responsibly.
