COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance with Law degree offers a structured progression from foundational knowledge to advanced professional skills across four years. In Year 1, students begin with introductory modules in accounting, finance, management and law, along with university transition support and essential numeracy skills. These modules help build confidence in understanding financial systems, legal methods and basic economic concepts. Year 2 deepens this foundation with core studies in financial and management accounting, business transactions and business law, strengthening both technical and legal competencies. In Year 3, students explore more specialised areas such as corporate finance, advanced management accounting and international financial accounting, while also examining employment law and the legal structure of business organisations. This blend enhances their ability to interpret financial information within legal and organisational contexts. By Year 4, students move into advanced and internationally focused topics, including international financial accounting, public international law, financial management, auditing and corporate finance. This final stage prepares them for professional roles by developing critical analysis, regulatory understanding and high-level financial decision-making skills.
