COURSE CURRICULUM

The Sustainable Building Information Management master’s program is structured over two years to develop expertise in digital technologies, sustainability, and information management within the built environment sector. In the first year, students build a strong foundation through courses in analysis, simulation, and assessment systems, along with scientific introductions to building information management and sustainability. They also study BIM requirements and specifications and learn script programming to enhance digital problem-solving skills. In the spring semester, the focus shifts to BIM management, control, and evaluation, as well as the implementation of digital technologies in the construction industry and parametric design. Optional courses such as urban information management and mathematical statistics allow students to broaden their knowledge. In the second year, students advance their expertise through courses in advanced building information delivery and research methods for the built environment. They may also choose to study abroad, gaining international experience and broader industry perspectives. The final semester is dedicated to a major project in the built environment, where students apply their knowledge to solve practical, real-world challenges. Optional courses, including industrial placement, change management, and digital twins with artificial intelligence, provide additional specialization and practical experience. This structure ensures graduates are prepared for leadership roles in sustainable digital construction and infrastructure management.
