COURSE CURRICULUM

The Supply Chain Operations Management master’s program is structured over two years to develop advanced expertise in designing, managing, and improving sustainable and efficient supply chain systems. In the first year, students begin with an introduction to supply chain operations management and advanced research methodology, building a strong analytical foundation. They then study designing supply chain operations and operations strategy and innovation, focusing on how supply chains are structured and continuously improved. In the spring semester, the emphasis shifts to implementation and leadership, with courses such as Deliver: Strategy, Planning and Operations, Leading Sustainable Operations, Developing Sustainable Supply Chain Operations, and Leading Advanced Socio-Technical Systems, which highlight the integration of people, processes, and technology in complex environments. In the second year, students may study abroad, gaining international experience and broader industry perspectives. The final semester is dedicated to a large-scale final project in production systems, where students apply their knowledge to real-world supply chain challenges. Optional courses allow further specialization in areas such as Lean and Six Sigma, circular economy, simulation in industrial engineering, integrated product and production development, and research-focused tracks. Overall, the program prepares graduates for leadership roles in logistics, operations management, and supply chain development with a strong focus on sustainability and innovation.
