COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master’s program in Cybersecurity is structured over two years to provide advanced knowledge and practical skills for addressing modern digital security challenges. In the first year, students begin with a broad introduction to cybersecurity, covering fundamental concepts and key principles in Cybersecurity Overview. They also explore Human Aspects of Cybersecurity, gaining insight into user behaviour and social factors affecting security. Research Methods in Cybersecurity develops their ability to conduct structured investigations, while Cybersecurity and AI introduces the role of artificial intelligence in detecting and preventing threats. In the spring semester, students study Digital Ethics and Privacy, learning about responsible data use and legal considerations. They also gain practical skills in Penetration Testing, Forensics, Cybercrime, and Incident Response, as well as Critical Infrastructure and Industrial Cybersecurity, which focuses on protecting essential systems. In the second year, students deepen their expertise with State-of-the-art Cybersecurity and Applied Cryptology, while also having opportunities for elective studies, study abroad, or industrial placement. The program concludes with a final project in computer science, where students apply their knowledge to solve complex cybersecurity problems. Overall, the program prepares graduates for careers in cybersecurity analysis, digital forensics, penetration testing, and security consulting across global industries.
