COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master in Applied Economics and Data Analysis is a two-year program designed to develop strong analytical, theoretical, and empirical skills for solving complex economic and data-driven problems. In the first year, students begin with Working Across Boundaries, which builds collaboration skills in diverse teams, and Programming and Data Analysis, which introduces essential computational tools for handling and analysing data. They also study Advanced Microeconomics and Advanced Applied Econometrics, which provide a deep understanding of economic theory and statistical methods used to analyse real-world issues. In the spring semester, students take Applied Economics and Data Analysis, where they integrate theory and empirical methods to solve practical problems. They also study Advanced Macroeconomics to understand large-scale economic systems and policies, and Bridging to Practice: Consulting as a Process, which connects academic knowledge with real-world consulting applications. In the second year, students have the opportunity to study abroad or choose elective courses to broaden their academic and international experience. The program concludes with a Master’s Thesis in Economics, where students conduct independent research on a selected topic, applying advanced economic theory and data analysis techniques. Overall, the program prepares graduates for careers in economics, data science, consulting, policy analysis, and research roles.
