COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master in Finance program is structured over one year to provide intensive and specialised knowledge in finance, combining theoretical foundations with practical applications. In the autumn semester, students begin with International Financial Analysis, which develops a strong understanding of global financial reporting and decision-making. They also study Asset Pricing and Portfolio Management, gaining expertise in evaluating investments, managing assets, and understanding market behaviour. The course Working Across Boundaries strengthens collaboration and communication skills in international and cross-functional environments. In addition, Machine Learning in Finance introduces students to advanced data-driven techniques and artificial intelligence applications in financial analysis and forecasting. In the spring semester, the focus shifts to more advanced and applied topics such as Financial Risk Management, where students learn to identify, assess, and manage financial risks. Research Methods in Finance develops analytical and academic research skills, while Derivatives provides knowledge of financial instruments used for hedging and speculation. The program concludes with a Master’s Thesis in Business Administration, allowing students to conduct independent research on a finance-related topic and apply their theoretical and practical knowledge to real-world challenges. This structure ensures graduates are well-prepared for careers in banking, investment management, corporate finance, and financial analysis in global markets.
