COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master in Finance is a 60 ECTS programme designed to develop advanced financial expertise, strategic management capabilities and analytical skills required for leadership roles in the global finance industry. The curriculum begins with Corporate Strategy and Sustainability, providing an understanding of strategic business management and sustainable financial practices. Students then explore Financial Engineering, Financial Planning and Treasury Management, and Management Control, developing the ability to optimise financial resources, manage cash flow, support corporate decision-making and improve organisational performance. Advanced modules in Financial Analysis and Business Valuation, Corporate Finance, Financial Markets and Instruments, and Risk Analysis and Portfolio Management equip students with the skills to evaluate investments, value businesses, analyse financial markets, manage portfolios and assess financial risks using modern analytical techniques. The programme also integrates Machine Learning concepts, enabling students to apply emerging technologies and data-driven methods to financial analysis and decision-making. The course concludes with a Final Master’s Project, allowing students to apply their knowledge to a real-world financial challenge through independent research and practical problem-solving. In addition to academic learning, students can enhance their international experience through an optional stay at EAE Barcelona and specialised minors.
