COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master in Data Analytics program at Berlin School of Business and Innovation is structured across four terms to provide a well-rounded understanding of data analysis and its applications in business. In the first term, students build a strong foundation by studying the fundamentals of data analytics along with predictive analytics and machine learning using Python, developing essential technical and analytical skills. The second term focuses on handling and managing large-scale data through subjects such as enterprise data warehouse systems and database management, as well as big data analytics, enabling students to work with complex data infrastructures. In the third term, learners enhance their ability to communicate insights effectively through visualisation and storytelling using Tableau, while also exploring advanced topics like computer vision and artificial intelligence to understand emerging technologies. The final term emphasizes practical experience and research, where students complete an internship to gain real-world exposure and a dissertation to demonstrate their ability to apply knowledge to real business challenges. Overall, the program is designed to progressively develop technical expertise, analytical thinking, and practical skills, preparing graduates for data-driven roles across various industries.
