COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Science with Honours in Business and Finance program provides students with a strong foundation in business management, finance, economics, and leadership through a combination of theoretical learning and practical application. In the first academic year, students study modules such as Fundamentals of Finance, Fundamentals of Business Organisation, Academic and Professional Skills in Finance, Mathematical Techniques for Finance, Marketing Essentials, Fundamentals of Business Economics, and Academic Writing: Developing Critical Thinking. These subjects help students build essential knowledge in financial principles, business operations, economics, marketing, and professional communication while developing analytical and critical thinking abilities. In the second academic year, students progress to more advanced modules including Business Management, Business Accounting, Employability Skills in Finance 1, Principles of Finance, Financial Services, Principles of Management and Leadership, and Leading and Developing People. These modules focus on financial management, accounting practices, leadership development, business strategy, and organisational management skills required in professional business environments. The program combines academic theory with practical business applications, enabling students to understand financial systems, evaluate business performance, and make informed strategic decisions.
