COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Engineering Honours in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence program is structured to provide students with strong technical foundations in robotics, artificial intelligence, programming, electronics, and mechatronics engineering. In the first academic year, students study modules such as Introduction to Robotics, Digital Electronics, Maths for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, Programming, Professional Engineering, Digital Computing Principles, and Robot Design and Build Parts A and B. These modules introduce students to robotic system design, computing concepts, engineering principles, software development, and practical robot construction, helping them build both theoretical understanding and hands-on technical skills. In the second academic year, students progress to more advanced topics including Embedded Systems Design, Behavioural Robotics, Artificial Intelligence Principles, Applied Robotics and AI Project, Electronics Practice for Applications, Robot Sensors and Signal Processing, Mechatronics, and Team Project. These modules focus on intelligent robotic behaviour, system integration, sensor technologies, AI applications, embedded systems, and collaborative engineering practices. Students also gain practical experience through applied projects that involve designing, building, and testing robotic and AI-driven systems for real-world engineering challenges. The program combines technical theory with industry-relevant practical learning to prepare students for careers in robotics, automation, artificial intelligence, embedded systems, and advanced engineering industries. It also develops problem-solving, teamwork, and innovation skills needed in the rapidly evolving field of intelligent engineering technologies.
