COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Computer Science with a specialisation in Artificial Intelligence provides students with a strong foundation in computer science, cybersecurity, programming, and artificial intelligence technologies. In the first academic year, students study modules such as Cryptography and Security, Database Fundamentals, Inside Information Technology, Introduction to Cybersecurity, Introduction to Artificial Intelligence, Network Engineering Fundamentals, Object-Oriented Programming Fundamentals, Programming Environment, and Tools for Modelling the World. These subjects introduce students to core computing principles, software development, network systems, cybersecurity practices, and the fundamentals of artificial intelligence. The curriculum is designed to help students develop technical knowledge, analytical thinking, and practical problem-solving skills required in modern computing industries. In the second academic year, students build on this foundation through more advanced modules including Algorithms and Data Structures, Artificial Intelligence Fundamentals, Intermediate Object-Oriented Programming, Industry Project, Professional Practices and Entrepreneurship in Information Technology, and System Analysis and Design. These modules focus on developing students’ abilities in software engineering, AI system development, programming, project management, and professional IT practices. Through a combination of theoretical learning and practical industry-based projects, students gain hands-on experience in designing intelligent systems and solving real-world technological challenges. The program prepares graduates for careers in artificial intelligence, software development, cybersecurity, data science, and other rapidly growing areas within the technology sector.
