COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Arts with Honours in International Hospitality and Tourism Management program is structured to provide students with a strong understanding of hospitality operations, tourism management, business practices, and global industry trends. In the first academic year, students build foundational knowledge through modules such as The Economic Environment of Business, Professional and Academic Skills, Introduction to Hospitality Operations, International Business Cultures, Contemporary Digital Landscapes, and Principles of Tourism Management. These subjects introduce students to the core concepts of business, hospitality services, cultural awareness, and the impact of digital technologies on the tourism and hospitality sectors. In the second academic year, students develop more specialised industry knowledge and managerial skills through modules including Revenue and Procurement Planning for Hospitality, Tourism and Events, Consumer Behaviour, Business Law for Hospitality, Tourism and Events, Food and Beverage Management, Project Management for Events, and Contemporary Issues in Tourism. The program focuses on equipping students with practical business acumen, leadership abilities, communication skills, and problem-solving capabilities required in today’s international hospitality and tourism industry. Through a combination of theoretical learning and industry-relevant applications, students gain insight into operational management, customer experience, event planning, and tourism development. The course prepares graduates for diverse career opportunities in hotels, tourism organisations, event management, and other global hospitality-related industries.
