COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Commerce in Management and Marketing at Curtin University requires students to complete 600 credits to graduate, with most units carrying 25 credits each. The course is structured across six trimesters and combines management studies with specialised marketing knowledge to prepare students for leadership and marketing careers in competitive business environments. In the early stages of the program, students study foundational business subjects such as Communication, Culture and Indigenous Perspectives in Business, Strategic Career Design, Markets and Legal Frameworks, Financial Decision Making, Analytics for Decision Making, Organisational Behaviour, Business and Sustainable Development, and Discovering Marketing. As the course progresses, students study advanced management topics including Human Resources Management Introduction, International Management, Entrepreneurship, Managing Change, Strategic Management, and Business Ethics. Students also gain specialised marketing knowledge through subjects such as Consumer Behaviour, Marketing Across Borders, Managing Social Media Platforms, Digital Marketing and E-Commerce, Marketing Intelligence, Services Marketing, Creating Content and Marketing Briefs, and Strategic Marketing. The program combines practical and theoretical learning to help students understand customer behaviour, business strategy, leadership, and digital marketing practices. Graduates are prepared for careers in management, marketing, advertising, business development, sales, public relations, and leadership roles across various industries and global business sectors.
