COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Commerce in Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Curtin University requires students to complete 600 credits to graduate, with most units carrying 25 credits each. The course is structured across six trimesters and is designed to provide students with strong business knowledge alongside specialised logistics and supply chain management skills. In the early stages of the program, students study foundational subjects such as Financial Decision Making, Analytics for Decision Making, Introduction to Business Information Systems, Communication, Culture and Indigenous Perspectives in Business, Project Management, and Markets and Legal Frameworks. These units help students develop analytical, communication, and management skills needed in business operations. Students also begin specialised learning in Supply Chain Management to understand the movement of goods and services across industries. As the course progresses, students study advanced topics including Supply Chain Decision Analytics, Sustainable Procurement, Supply Chain Logistics, Supply Chain Technology and Systems, Operations and Materials Management, and Supply Chain Project. These units focus on logistics planning, operational efficiency, procurement strategies, and the use of technology in supply chain operations. Elective units throughout the course allow students to broaden their learning according to career interests. The program prepares graduates for managerial and operational roles in logistics, transportation, manufacturing, retail, and global supply chain industries.
