COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Commerce in International Business at Curtin University requires students to complete 600 credits to graduate, with most units carrying 25 credits each. The course is structured across six trimesters and is designed to provide students with both foundational business knowledge and specialised international business skills. In the early stages of the program, students study core subjects such as Financial Decision Making, Discovering Marketing, Introduction to Global Business, Analytics for Decision Making, Organisational Behaviour, and Markets and Legal Frameworks. These units help students understand business operations, marketing principles, workplace behaviour, and global business environments. As students progress through the course, they study more advanced international business topics including Marketing Across Borders, International Management, International Business Ethics, Supply Chain Management, Responsible Management in Asia, and Strategic Management. These subjects focus on managing international organisations, ethical decision-making, global trade operations, and leadership in multicultural business settings. Elective units throughout the program allow students to explore additional business interests and tailor their studies according to career goals.
