COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Aerospace Engineering (MAerospaceEng) is a 180-point degree consisting of 30 points of compulsory core aerospace engineering courses, 30 points of aerospace elective courses, and a 120-point thesis focused on an aerospace engineering topic of your choice. The elective courses you select will support your thesis research. The degree can be started in either February or July and typically takes 18 months of full-time study or up to 3 years part-time to complete.The compulsory thesis course is ENAS690 MAerospace Engineering Thesis. For electives, you must choose at least two courses from core aerospace options such as ENGR601 Advanced Computational Fluid Mechanics, ENME486 Special Topic: Aerospace Structures, ENME488 Special Topic: Mechanics of Flight and Space Flight, ENME603 Advanced Linear Systems Control and System Identification, ENME604 Advanced Aerodynamics and Ground Vehicle Dynamics, or ENME660 Aerospace Propulsion. Additionally, you may select up to two courses from a broader range of advanced topics including cosmology, computer vision, engineering product design, robotics, spatial analysis, climate data analytics, laser physics, and product design, among others. Other approved 400–600 level courses may also be selected if they support your thesis work.
