COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Social and Environmental Sustainability (BSEnS) requires a total of 360 points. This includes 105 points of compulsory courses, 30 points of electives, 135 points towards a major, and 90 points from Arts or other degree courses. At least 225 points must be above 100-level, with 90 points at 300-level. The degree can be completed full-time in three years or part-time up to ten years.BSEnS students can choose to complete either a major alone or a major with a minor. Majors require a minimum of 135 points, including 45 points above 100-level and 60 points at 300-level. Minors require 75 points with at least 45 points above 100-level and can be selected from diverse fields such as Arts, Commerce, Health, Science, or Product Design.Core courses introduce students to sustainability principles, systems thinking, indigenous partnerships, community leadership, and communication skills. Major options include Environmental Policy, Indigenous Knowledge, Social Action, and Sustainable Business.The program’s flexibility allows students to combine their passion for social and environmental issues with a wide range of minors, supporting interdisciplinary learning and preparing graduates to lead meaningful change in communities and organisations.
