COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Science (BSc) requires a minimum of 360 points, including a compulsory 15-point course called SCIE101 Science, Society and Me. Students must complete at least 255 points in Science courses, while the remaining 105 points can come from either Science or other degree courses. At least 225 points need to be at levels above 100, with a minimum of 90 points at the advanced 300-level.The degree offers great flexibility, allowing students to choose from a wide range of majors and minors across scientific and interdisciplinary fields. Students are required to complete at least one major subject, and they can also specialise with a minor. Majors include options such as Astronomy, Biochemistry, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Mathematics, Physics, Psychology, and Statistics.Minors offer even broader choices, ranging from traditional science subjects to areas like Anthropology, Business Analytics, Digital Product Design, Health Studies, Indigenous Studies, and many others, allowing students to customise their degree based on their interests and career goals.Additionally, some courses from related fields like Engineering, Forestry, Health Sciences, and Soil Science can count towards the BSc. This structure encourages an interdisciplinary approach and prepares students to address complex scientific problems in various industries.
