COURSE CURRICULUM

In this business management course, students cover a range of topics over three years. In the first year, they study organisations in the New Zealand context, business functions, business environments, change and innovation, operations management and compliance, business planning, introduction to leadership, and managing projects. The second year includes economics (micro and macro), applied management, marketing planning and control, business analytics, leadership, human resource management, commercial law, and employment relations. In the final year, students focus on fundamentals of finance, project management, strategic management, e-business, advanced change management, applied business research, and an industry project worth 30 credits. The curriculum is designed to build knowledge and skills progressively, blending theory with practical applications to prepare students for real-world business challenges and leadership roles.
