COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Applied Information Technology curriculum covers a range of topics over three years. In the first year, students learn about hardware technologies and operating systems, introduction to networks, fundamentals of programming and problem solving, database administration, interface analysis and design, web application implementation, application testing and maintenance, programming, and a special topic. The second year includes systems analysis and design, web services and design methodologies, algorithms and data structures, data management, project management, a 15-credit project, graphical user interface programming, and cyber security 1. In the third year, students study advanced user interface programming, artificial intelligence techniques, human computer interaction, client server web development, cyber security 2, a special topic, and complete a 45-credit project. This program combines technical skills with practical experience to prepare students for various careers in IT.
