COURSE CURRICULUM

The MBM (MSc) in Nursing at Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences is structured to provide students with a strong combination of healthcare expertise and business management knowledge over two years. In the first year, students study a range of core and healthcare-focused subjects, including Globalisation, Society & Culture, Marketing Management, Micro & Macroeconomics with Global Perspectives, and Research Methods Introduction, which prepares them for their Final Project. They also develop leadership and professional healthcare skills through modules such as Enabling Leadership in Healthcare, Professional Inquiry, and Advanced Nurse Practice Management. In the following semester, students continue building their academic and strategic knowledge through Research Methods while focusing on specialised healthcare and management subjects such as Nursing Informatics, The World Economy, Strategy in Healthcare Management, and Financial & Strategic Management. During this stage, students also complete a Project Module consisting of three project weeks linked to their Final Project, allowing them to apply theoretical learning to practical healthcare and management challenges. In the second year, students undertake Professional-Based Learning, which provides real-world experience and deeper professional development within healthcare settings. The program concludes with the Final Project, where students conduct in-depth research and develop solutions to current healthcare or management issues. This structure equips graduates with the leadership, strategic, and clinical skills needed for advanced roles in nursing, healthcare management, and policy-making worldwide.
