COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Logistics and Trade at Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences offers a structured curriculum that blends core business management with specialised modules in supply chain and trade. In Semester 1, students are introduced to fundamental management areas through core modules such as Marketing Management, Globalisation, Society and Culture, The World Economy, and an introduction to Research Methods for their final project. Alongside these, the specialisation modules focus on Operations Management and Supply Chain – Operations and Strategy, equipping students with insights into managing resources, processes, and logistics from a strategic perspective. Semester 2 builds further with core modules in Research Methods, Microeconomics from a global perspective, and Strategic Management, supported by a Project Module of three intensive weeks linked to the final project. Specialisation modules in this term cover International Joint Ventures and International Trade, Law and Policy, enabling students to understand the legal and regulatory frameworks that shape global trade and the dynamics of international business collaborations. Semester 3 is dedicated to Professional-Based Learning, where students undertake a work placement or practical engagement in industry, and complete their Final Project. This structure ensures graduates develop both theoretical expertise and practical skills to succeed in logistics, supply chain, and international trade management.
