COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Human Resource Management at Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences is structured to provide students with both core business management knowledge and specialised HR expertise. In Semester 1, students focus on core modules including Marketing Management, Globalisation, Society and Culture, The World Economy, and an introduction to Research Methods, while also engaging in Professional Inquiry to develop analytical skills. Specialisation modules in this semester cover Strategic Human Resource Management, which examines HRM from a long-term organisational perspective, and High-Performance Leadership, focusing on the role of leadership in driving success. Semester 2 builds on this foundation with advanced core modules such as Research Methods, Microeconomics in global perspectives, and Strategic Management, alongside a three-week Project Module linked to the final project, offering practical application of theory. Specialisation modules in this semester include Organisation Development and Change Management, addressing how HR supports transformation within companies, and International Talent Management, which explores strategies for attracting, nurturing, and retaining talent in a globalised workforce. Semester 3 is dedicated to Professional-Based Learning through a work placement, combined with the completion of the final project. This structure ensures graduates are equipped with both theoretical insight and practical experience to lead HR and organisational change effectively.
