COURSE CURRICULUM

This MBM (MSc) with specialisation in Finance at Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences is structured to develop strong analytical, strategic, and managerial skills in financial decision-making. The program combines advanced business education with focused financial expertise, preparing students for careers in corporate finance, banking, investment, and financial consultancy. It is designed with a balance of academic rigor and practical application through case studies, research, project weeks, professional enquiry, and a work placement linked to the final project. In Semester 1, students study core modules such as Marketing Management, The World Economy, Globalisation, Society & Culture, Research Methods Introduction, and Professional Inquiry. Alongside these, they take finance-focused modules including Management Accounting & Finance and Financial and Monetary Economics, which build a strong foundation in financial systems and analysis. In Semester 2, students progress to more advanced subjects such as Strategic Management, Micro Economics – Global Perspectives, and Research Methods for the Final Project. Specialisation modules include Corporate Finance and Venture Capital and Private Equity, focusing on investment strategies, business funding, and financial growth mechanisms. Semester 3 is dedicated to Professional-Based Learning and the Final Project, allowing students to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world financial contexts.
