COURSE CURRICULUM

The MBM (MSc) in Engineering at Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences is structured to provide students with a strong balance of business management knowledge and specialised engineering expertise over two years. In the first year, students build a solid foundation through core management modules such as Management Accounting & Finance, Marketing Management, Human Resource Management, Operations Management, International Management, and Information Management. They also begin developing academic and analytical skills through Research Methods Introduction, which prepares them for their Final Project. In the next semester, the program shifts towards engineering-focused and strategic subjects, including Engineering Project Management, Technical Innovation & Product Development, Business Statistics, Strategic Management, and Zero-Energy Buildings & Energy Transition. These modules help students understand innovation, sustainability, and the strategic management of engineering projects in a global business environment. Students also continue with Research Methods and take part in a Project Module consisting of three project weeks linked to their Final Project, allowing them to apply theoretical knowledge to practical and real-world challenges. In the second year, students dedicate one full semester or term to completing their Final Project, where they conduct in-depth research and develop practical solutions related to engineering and business management. This program prepares graduates for leadership roles in engineering, innovation, sustainability, and project management across various industries worldwide.
